Urban Axe Throwing has come to Wales and we were the first to offer it. Whether it’s a few hours of feeling like an absolute boss or time spent with friends or colleagues, we guarantee that Axe Throwing is going to get your adrenaline pumping. We’ll guide you through the safety aspects and even throw in a trick or two. Afterwards, you’ll find yourself competing with others…it’s time to sharpen that axe!


COME DOWN
Once you arrive at Lumberjacks you’ll be greeted by one of our trained instructors who will show you to your axe throwing range.

DEMONSTRATION
A simple demonstration will show you how to safely throw an axe. We’ll also show off some of our skills because we can!

AXE THROWING
After the demo you’ll be ready to go. We’ll crank up the music and let things get a little bit crazy & before you know it, you’ll be tossing axes like a boss

SCORING
With anticipation levels through the roof, we’ll release the shackles and get the tournament underway. It’s competition time & you’re in it to win it.
ADULT ADMISSION
Perfect activity for all individuals. 90 Minute Axe Throwing Experience. Professional Axe Throwing Instructor included. No experience needed. £20pp
STUDENT NIGHTS
Thursday night is student night here at LumberJacks. Normal axe throwing sessions are reduced to £17pp to allow you to get rid of all that Uni stress.
CHILDREN & FAMILY
It may sound funny but axe throwing is a perfect activity for families. Whether it’s the kids showing mum and dad what they’ve got or mum and dad showing who’s boss. We offer a discounted price of £14pp for 10-17 year olds with all our sessions.

MEMBERSHIP MONDAYS
One of our main goal at lumberjack is to promote axe throwing as a sport for all. That’s why in the future we aim to off memberships to all the bad axes that want to take axe throwing up as a hobby, keep an eye on our socials for when we get the ball rolling.

Covid Safety Concerns
Objective: To minimise the risk of transmission and protect the health of clients and visitors in close contact services. Following the Welsh government guidelines we maintain social distancing and request all visitors to please wear a face mask when entering Lumberjacks. Hand sanitising stations available throughout the venue. For any other information please feel free to get in touch.
Is it Safe?
As in all sport, there is a risk. But at
Lumberjack make safety the highest priority. We show you how to safely participate in the sport, as well as having a qualified first aider present at every session.
Where can I park?
St Catherines park has plenty of parking on site. You are welcome to park right outside our doors or just around the corner. If you have any valuables in the vehicle one of our team will be happy to store them behind the reception while your session takes place. If a person in your party has a disability, make sure to let us know in advance so we can make your experience is as assessable as possible.
How many can come?
How many can come? We take on a max of 20 per session. But we may send you an email if bookings are over ten as we will make sure that no one is left out when we choose your instructors. There is no minimum number either
What should I wear?
Wear whatever you wish, we love a good fashion statement. All we ask is that you don’t wear open-toe shoes or high heels as your safety is important to us.
